A Flipkart employee whose job was terminated about a month ago decided to retaliate, and how! The employee in question, along with two friends, planned to rob the Flipkart office in Sonipat with a toy gun. The best part is that they were able to pull it off.
Sumit, the former employee, had strategically planned the robbery with Anil Tiger and Sandeep last month, aware of the increased volume of cash flow into the office due to the festive season deluge of orders. They not only carried out the plan on October 16, but they also managed to elude the cops for a while.
Two of the three have reportedly been apprehended, while the third, Sandeep, remains at large.
Only about Rs 6 lakh of the total amount robbed, along with an abandoned car, have been recovered.
Frustrated laid-off workers have recently expressed their rage in unusual ways.
