Ankiti Bose, the former CEO of Zilingo, has given herself a 10-fold salary increase. Zilingo, which is headquartered in Singapore, operates in the fashion industry. The company’s co-founder and former chief executive officer (CEO) Ankithi Bose has already been accused of various financial irregularities.
For this, she has already been removed from the post of CEO. In this context, Ankiti Bose has reportedly given herself a 10-fold salary hike. It appears that Ankiti Bose has given her a salary hike without the board approval of Jilingo.
According to this, his salary increased from 5,500 Singapore dollars in 2017 to 58,900 Singapore dollars in 2019. Apart from this, Jilingo co-founder Dhruv Kapoor has been given a 3-fold salary hike and CEO Adi Vaidya has been given a 7-fold salary hike.
The company’s financials were audited when Zilingo tried to raise investment. Then it was revealed that there were many financial irregularities in the company. In May last year, Jilingo removed Ankiti Bose from the post of CEO.
Ankiti Bose sent a court notice to Jilingo Board for harassing her. Apart from this, investor Mahesh Murthy alleged that Ankiti Bose illegally stole money from Jilingo.
Subsequently, Ankiti Bose sued Mahesh Murthy for damages of 100 million dollars. In this context, it has been reported that Ankiti Bose has given her a 10-fold salary hike without the approval of the board of Jilingo.
