Air India Express and AIX Connect have introduced new grades, pay, and benefits in order to provide employees with a clear career path and increase transparency.

The Tata Group is working on a new business structure that will ensure pay parity across the merged Air India Express and Air Asia India.
Simply put, the legacy pay structure that was in place at Air India Express is being replaced. This comes on the heels of Air India and Vistara’s post-merger salary restructuring.
According to reports, the Tata Group is working on a new brand identity for Air India Express. The first Air India Express aircraft will be delivered. Its first aircraft will be delivered within a month or two of the arrival of its new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
Air India Express (AIXL) currently connects 14 regional international destinations from 20 Indian cities, while Air India Express Connect (AIXC) flies to 19 domestic destinations.
