Nextiva, a connected communications company, is looking to add another 100 people to its 100-person India team. The Arizona-based company purchased Simplify360 and expanded into the Indian market.
It is currently expanding its market outside of the United States by incorporating Simplify360’s product into its own portfolio and leveraging India’s rich talent pool. At the time of its acquisition by Nextiva, Simplify360 had approximately 150 customers in India.
The voice-over-internet-protocol company has made a name for itself in the connected communications space, powering billions of conversations each year through cloud business phone networks, text and team messaging, video meetings, and other services.
The company intends to provide a comprehensive solution that will bring together conversations in a single platform so that data insights can be derived to provide better customer experiences.
It is actively seeking to expand outside of the United States, and India is undoubtedly one of its preferred locations for rapid growth.
In December of last year, Nextiva laid off its head of partner development, as well as 14% of its workforce, unable to cope with the challenging economic situation.
Following its funding round, Nextiva’s value in 2021 was $2.7 billion. It has a 5% market share in the cloud communication and cloud conversation space globally. It has at least one lakh customers, including small and medium-sized businesses.
