QwikSkills, the skill-development platform, intends to hire 300 new employees by the end of the year. The cloud certification and skilling platform, launched in 2020, aims to provide people with the most up-to-date and in-demand skills, making them more employable.
Currently, the platform employs over 100 people who provide online cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and data courses for students’ professional development and career training. The new hires are expected to improve the firm’s operations and help it provide world-class training.
QwikSkills raised Rs 3.85 crore in seed funding from various angel investors, including Manish Sinha and Naveen Gupta of Indian Angel Network (IAN), in May 2022. At the time, the company stated that it planned to use the funds raised to expand its presence in business-to-business (B2B) enterprises and business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) markets, as well as reach out to colleges and universities. It also intended to use the funds to expand its team of developers, sales and marketing personnel, and cloud experts.
The Gurugram-based startup provides monthly and annual subscription-based packages to its users. Users can practise cloud computing and meet industry needs by utilising these yearly packages. Students can hone their technical skills and gain hands-on cloud skills practise.
