Flipkart plans to generate more than 2.5 lakh direct and indirect employment opportunities during the 2026 festive season, including roles in gig work, the company said on September 15. US employers continued to show caution over job cuts last week, with new unemployment benefit claims edging lower and remaining within a narrow range in recent weeks.
