Sanofi has announced an ambitious expansion plan which involves doubling its workforce over the next two years. The company plans to invest €400 million ($437.24 million) in its Global Capacity Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, India by the end of the decade. The Hyderabad GCC currently has 1,000 employees but aims to increase its staff to 2,600 by 2026. This expansion will involve hiring data scientists and data engineers to enhance the digital team and make use of artificial intelligence tools. Sanofi will initially invest €100 million ($109.31 million) by the next year.
Sanofi also operates GCCs in Budapest, Malaysia, and Colombia.
