The deadline to apply for deputy manager positions at the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is approaching. Candidates interested in becoming deputy managers in electrical erection, mechanical erection, C and I erection, and civil construction can apply through the official NTPC website. The last date for submitting applications is September 29. There are a total of 250 vacancies available, and applicants should be under 40 years old. The salary for selected candidates will range from Rs 70,000 to Rs 2,00,000 per month, depending on the role. Selection will be based on a written test, followed by a computer-based test and an interview.
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is also seeking candidates to fill 200 apprentice positions (40 technician apprentice posts and 120 trade apprentice posts). Interested individuals can check their eligibility and apply on drdo.gov.in. The registration process began on September 24 and will conclude 21 days from the date of the advertisement. Only those aged 18 or above as of August 1, 2024, are eligible to apply. Regular candidates should have completed their qualifying examinations (graduate, diploma, and ITI trade apprentices in 2022, 2023, and 2024 with a minimum score of 60 percent) in order to apply.
