Cognizant unveils AI-powered Innovation Assistant BlueBolt in collaboration with Microsoft to empower its employees

Cognizant and Google Cloud Partner to Bring AI to Clients

Cognizant and Microsoft have teamed up to encourage innovation and creativity within Cognizant teams. As a part of this initiative, Cognizant has introduced the Innovation Assistant, which is a tool built on Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and powered by generative AI. This new tool enhances Cognizant’s internal innovation initiative, Bluebolt, which aims to address client challenges across various industries.

The Innovation Assistant is a crucial component of Cognizant’s grassroots innovation movement, Bluebolt. It empowers Cognizant employees at any level to contribute to the entire innovation process – from ideation to execution. The goal is to offer a blend of virtual guidance and real-world support for co-innovation that benefits clients.

Cognizant’s partnership with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service underscores the company’s commitment to reshaping the landscape of human-machine collaboration through AI. Cognizant aims to tap into its full expertise to develop innovative solutions and benefit clients.

Ravi Kumar S, CEO of Cognizant, has described the Innovation Assistant as a game-changer that sets itself apart with its creativity and ingenuity. Puneet Chandok, President of Microsoft India & South Asia, praised Cognizant for adopting generative AI and emphasised the role of the Innovation Assistant in fostering innovation throughout an organisation’s various tiers.

Chandok highlighted that Cognizant’s platform, using Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, serves as a powerful catalyst for customers to tap into valuable insights from enterprise data and stay ahead in the constantly-evolving digital realm.
