Mahindra Group promotes internal talent during crucial leadership shift.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has revised its Maternity Leave Policy

The Mahindra Group, a diversified conglomerate, has announced key leadership appointments that reflect its commitment to talent development and internal mobility. Manoj Bhat, the current Group CFO, will take over as the MD & CEO of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India (MHRIL) on May 17th, 2024, succeeding Kavinder Singh who is leaving the group. Simultaneously, Amarjyoti Barua, the executive vice president of group strategy, will step up as the Group CFO. Vimal Agarwal, the CFO of Mahindra Lifespaces Developers (MLDL), will move to MHRIL as CFO, while Avinash Bapat will replace him at MLDL.

According to Anish Shah, Group CEO & managing director, “Talent development is crucial for us. We offer tailored career paths and encourage rotations across businesses. This has enabled us to promote Manoj, who brings diverse experience and a customer-centric approach.” These appointments showcase the group’s focus on nurturing internal talent and ensuring a smooth transition of leadership. The group’s emphasis on internal talent is expected to propel the respective businesses forward, with Bhat’s proven track record and Barua’s strategic expertise.
